By Brother John Liming

When the wind and the waves of Life threaten to overwhelm us, we have a sure help in the person of Jesus Christ who never forsakes us; never leaves us; is always with us and is always unfailingly ready to come to our aid and assistance with all power in heaven and in earth.

Jesus’ power is unlimited! There is nothing that He cannot do for His children and there is nothing in the Will of God that He will not do for His children or that He will not give to His children if it is asked for in line with the Scriptures.

Jesus’ power has no limits: ”

Matthew 28: 18-19:

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Every good and perfect gift that any Christian can ever imagine or hope for comes down from God through His Son, Jesus Christ —

James 1:17 (NIV)

17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

And there is no good thing that God, The Father will withhold from the Faithful if only they will believe that he is God and that He is a rewarder of those who believe in him:

Luke 12:32 King James Version (KJV)

32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Hebrews 11:6 King James Version (KJV)

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God wants us to ask Him for things … If we are to receive from God, then we must ask:

Matthew 7:7-8 King James Version (KJV)

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Please note that God’s willingness and ability to give good things to His children is not limited in any manner nor degree and that the only conditions for receiving these gifts from God are to believe that He is God and that He rewards the believers’ faith and that we ask ….. we must ask if we are to receive.

Even though God wants us to ask, He already knows what we need even before we ask. But for some reason, known only to God, He desires us to ask anyway.  God loves for His children to use their faith … the faith that comes from God …. The faith that is also a “Gift” from God …. The faith that every person already has been given a measure of to use …

8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Now, with all this power at your disposal … a power that has worked down through the centuries … a power that never fails to bring something good to those who ask of God …. with all this power at your disposal, what can you imagine that might do you any harm in this life or the next? — What mountain do you think might not move before the limitless power of Almighty God who desires the very best Life has to offer for all His children?

Romans 8:28 King James Version (KJV)

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Mark 11:23 King James Version (KJV)

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Philippians 4:19 – But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 2:9 – But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Now, when the devil comes at you with some lie or threatens you in any way, you know where your hope lies, you know where your deliverance comes from and you know how to invoke the unlimited power of God to come and fight your battles against every evil for you.

Do not look at the circumstances that surround you.  Do not fix your eyes on the storms that assail you.  Do not focus on the raging waves and the rushing winds.  Put your eyes firmly onto Jesus and He will take your hand and walk alongside you in victory over the raging waters of Life.

Know the truth and the truth will make you free.
