Check Your Package Deliveries Very Closely Before Handling Them

I just got through reading an incident where a man reported that a package delivery guy actually spit onto a package that was delivered to his home and then, not only did the driver spit on the box, he also took his hand and spread the saliva around on the box with his hand before taking the photo of the box confirming that it had been delivered.

The guy who received the package had captured images of the spitter on his “Ring” doorbell and when the man who received the package reported the incident to the major online retailer who originated the package, he was told that the driver who did the spitting was not employed by them but was an employee of a third party delivery service.

In this coronavirus pandemic we definitely do not need anyone who is delivering a package or food or anything else to us to spit on it or even to cough on it —- very dangerous activity —- possibly illegal activity —-very potentially dangerous to health, safety and perhaps even life itself.

Inspect everything that somebody else delivers to you for signs of moisture or wet spots before handling whatever it is that was delivered.
